Pentagon Looking To round Up 100k Body Bags In Response To COVID-19 Pandemic

It is yet another grim realization from the growing coronavirus pandemic.

At the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Bloomberg confirms the Pentagon is working to procure 100,000 "human remains pouches," or body bags, in the event the U.S. death toll soars.  Reports indicate the Pentagon stockpile set aside for combat casualties is currently about half the needed number.
President Trump and federal health officials have warned 100,000-200,000 Americans could fall victim to the virus.

Bloomberg's Tony Capaccio was among the first to report on the body bag procurement process.  He talked with KRLD's Chris Sommer.
