Friday, December 13th
As you may have heard, Texas is among 16 states where the flu outbreak is classified as "widespread."

But there's something different about this current fight with the flu. Health experts say Influenza A normally spreads across the nation early in the season. This year, it's Influenza B leading the way.  Bloomberg reporter Michelle Cortez said that's good news and bad news.  Influenza B is impacting more children right now, but Cortez said the B variety tends to be less debilitating than its sibilng strain.  Meanwhile, officials are cautiously watching to see when Influenza A will rear its ugly head this season.
